Maeve O'Boyle
Glasgow based singer songwriter Maeve O'Boyle's debut album was one of the finest debut release by any Scottish artist. Her ability to take pop melodies and wrap them around intellegent lyrics serves as the perfect vehicle for her mesmerising voice. She is also not short of a few famous fans with Ricky Ross (Deacon Blue), John McLaughlin (Westlife, Shane McGowan) and John McCusker have all expressed their admiration for her work.
Signed to the label off shoot of high end hifi manafacturers Linn Records, her debut album was a beautiful sounding record with Callum Malcolm (The Blue Nile) taking on production duties. A string of 5 star reviews followed along with some high profile gigs including singing for the Pope at Bellahouston park along side Susan Boyle.
