Button Up
Scotland's very own Kings and Queens of Northern Soul and Mod are back after a change of personel and a 3 year break. Button Up is the brainchild of Proclaimers bass player Garry John Kane. Button Up has a constantly changing line up with special guests such as Justin Currie (Del Amitri) and Pat Kane (Hue & Cry) taking on vocal duties over the years.
The bands current line up see the talented Sarah Kerr on vocals, the first time the band has had a female vocalist. Just released is the guys new single Listen To Your Heart(beat) which has been getting rave reviews both here and in America. The new album, Modina, is set to be released this summer.
Having played at several Soul weekenders across the UK already this year, the guys make their first appearance at Summer Song. Get your dancin' shoes on baby.
